InspiredLocs.com was founded by Susan DeJesus (that's me), in 2004. I began my loc journey in September 2002.  My sister, who's locs are shown above, has been wearing locs for over 5 years, and my nephew has been growing his locs for over 2 years.

I've spent a considerable amount of time researching, studying and practicing "all things locs" and really had a desire to share the tons of information I have with others. I'm the author, Inspired Locs Ring Leader, and one of the creative spirits in this endeavor.

Rileena my sister, loc mentor, and prior licensed cosmetologist, is unmistakably one of the top experts in the area of locs, she's also my boldly inspired creative energy for this website.

Daeron and Dondre', my sons, are my technical support advisors and my encouragement for this endeavor.

Lindia, is my content critic, my sounding board, and spiritual support.

Devon, is my business advisor, problem solving expert, and my possibility stretcher.
